Anonymous asked: My question is about proper belt width. It seems that 1" is the traditional width. Most of the gold, silver, and brass slide buckles I've seen accommodate belts of this width. While I like this width of belt for more formal attire, I'm not sure if it looks right with a pair of Bills or similar khakis. What are your thoughts? Thanks
Too skinny for big khakis, It looks girly. Go for an embroidered, a needlepoint, hoof pick or a Royden belt. Get thick with the belts if your looking for a more normal look. If you want to look like a fancy pants stick to the formal belts. But don’t do that, trust me.
